Record of the Move Eleven discussion about how to remove Remi and the mothlings from Station Moongray.
Italic text indicates a solution that appears to have consensus support. This may change as discussion continues.
What excuse should the party give for its precipitate departure?
- Ashari's art project was accidentally destroyed and they need to visit the rift for new inspiration.
- Set the station on fire, or trigger the fire alarms.
- The unfortunate illness (poison) of some important people.
- Ashari enthralls an official and persuades them that departure makes sense.
- The Rahal instruct the ship to leave because of apparent calendrical rot triggered by a rift/mothling interaction, heretics, or some combination thereof.
How should the party remove the mothlings from the station?
- Trigger the habitat's release from the station and tow it behind the Wasp.
- Claim they should be placed in proximity to the rift as a science experiment (probably won't work because there is no control group).
- Insist they are inspiration for the next version of Ashari's unfortunately ruined art project.
- Insist they are causing calendrical rot and must be removed.
- Or collected as evidence in a heresy trial.
- Sedate the mothlings and take them through station security in boxes, mixed with real supplies.
- Sedate the mothlings and take them across the surface of the station in boxes using drones.
How should the party remove Remi from the station?
- Insist he is inspiration for the next version of Ashari's unfortunately ruined art project.
- Insist that as the dance soloist in Ashari's project he needs to visit the rift to interpret it correctly.
- Insist he is causing calendrical rot by looking after the mothlings, and must be removed.
- Arrest him for heresy.
- Have Remi tell the Nirai he is spying on the party to learn more about the Wasp's drive.
- Sneak him across the surface of the station.
How should the party deal with the other ships near the rift?
- Have a good excuse for being near the rift, too.
- Hack everything.
