General Information
Chapter One: List of Moves
From Move One: (Move One on DW)
- You are receiving your instructions on an outpost near an unusually stable rift in the boring, unremarkable year 702.
- The contact giving you the mission is a woman named Crow.
- Crow's signifier is an Ashhawk Vigilant. This is a common and unremarkable Kel signifier--even if she's not Kel or ex-Kel, she probably has some military experience.
- Your ship is a reclaimed pirate vessel called the Wasp.
- The Wasp includes basic tutorials for its operation. They'll get you through common situations but not a dogfight--you won't become an expert in a couple weeks.
- The Wasp is outfitted with a cantankerous matter printer.
- It also includes Kel surplus sewing kits.
- The mothgrid includes dummied-up, less valuable rift maps and the briefing information. You are to destroy the latter after memorizing it.
- Your target is Nirai Remi.
- You will be retrieving Remi from Station Moongray in High Calendar Year 361.
- Remi is a young man with violet eyes and curly hair. He claims to be able to pilot smaller moths.
- Remi has been instructed to go with whoever tells him the code word "mango."
- Moongray is currently devoted to researching the rift, but has light defenses, mostly hired security and robots (non-sentients, so no servitors). Its research moths are mostly automated as well.
- There are no Kel swarms in the area, as Moongray is in an internal (and therefore quiet) march.
- Remi thinks that he may have attracted someone's attention, but isn't sure whose.
- In case of emergency, Crow recommends that you flee to System Ostoya, which is known for its black markets and lawlessness.
- Your emergency contact on Remi's side of the rift is code-named Yellow, whom you can call from the Wasp.
- Yellow monitors the rifts on that side, so you can contact them for further information.
- You will be taking a rift to Remi's time and place.
- It should take you about five days to reach the rift.
- The rift is expected to stay stable on this side for about twelve days.
- Subjective time in the rift during travel is expected to be ten days.
From Move Two (Move Two on DW)
The party explores the Wasp. Ashari reads the files on other party members.
From Move Three (Move Three on DW)
The Wasp exits the rift.
From Move Five (Move Five on DW)
- Pavn and Bokali board the Wasp.
- Alaric makes contact with the moth.

- Sulen is vegan
- Alaric tells the moth that the party is affiliated with the rebellion
From Move Seven: (Move Seven on DW)
- We're arriving at the station on Month Three, Day Sixteen, 3 p.m.-ish, which is a Sunday.
- Remi is always at the same bar (per Move 8, the Crooked Gear) on a Tuesday, and there's a cafe specializing in bubble tea where he picks up a drink every morning before going in to work.
From Move Eight: (Move Eight on DW)
- The party has inserted drones into the population on the exterior of Station Moongray. These drones have provided maps of some of the secure areas.
- There is a maintenance access for the drones near the conservatory on Level Five.
- Safety workers on Station Moongray wear orange armbands.
- Nirai Alissa recently injured herself.
- Everyone has received a station visitor card. The visitor cards record information about an individual's purchases, but do not incorporate other location tracking.
- Kel Teo recommends The Bar on Level Three for drinks, food, and friendly people.
