Voidmoths, often abbreviated as moth, are intelligent beings native to gate-space. The later heptarchate and hexarchate calendars support a form of spaceship drive that incorporates a moth at the center of each ship.
Moths lay eggs and treat young members of their species affectionately. Young voidmoths often chase each other, in an apparent game of tag.
Voidmoths appear to be sensitive to radio waves. Some scientists speculate they can send messages by producing gravitational waves.
