Mikodez chooses a location away from station surveillance cameras, shoves the box containing the mothling egg at Istradez, and attempts to fire the gun he has matter-printed. However, the gun is not loaded. Istradez twists Mikodez' wrist, causing him to drop the gun, and exclaims, "The hell, Miki! Did you go off and eat an entire platter of cookies or something?" He then captures Mikodez in an armlock.
